Alkeme Atelier

Alkeme Atelier is an American brand founded in 2019. The inspiration comes from the ancient science of alchemy and the process of transforming and combining the four elements (earth, water, fire and air) to create something new. This idea of breaking down and rebuilding materials led to producing handbags with sustainable, plant-based textiles. The exterior is either an innovative and exclusive vegan leather, composed of mainly recycled fabrics, or a plant-based material, such as pineapple leather, grape leather or cactus leather. The interior is made from recycled plastic bottles, cutting down the amount of natural resources needed for production. The brand's goal is to cultivate an ethical and sustainable future for fashion.
